Supporting the EUROs Repeg
We wanted to inform you about a temporary adjustment to our minting fee. Effective immediately, the minting fee will be increased to 5%. This decision has been made to facilitate the repegging of EUROs and support the development of our Liquidation pools.
Here’s how it works: Whenever borrowers take out a loan, they are charged a one-time minting fee. This fee is calculated as a percentage of the stablecoin minted and is set by The Standard DAO. With the temporary adjustment, this fee will now be 5%.
Airdropping Minting Fees to Liquidation Pool Stakers
All minting fees collected during this period will be airdropped to individuals staking in the Liquidation pools. This ensures that the community benefits directly from the increased minting fee.

It’s important to note that this adjustment is temporary. The DAO will reassess and potentially reduce the minting fee in a few weeks. We appreciate your understanding during this period of adjustment.
The burning fee, charged when debt is repaid, will remain at 0%.
